One of our radiators had stopped working and our boiler had lost pressure. Liam came round and fixed the issue very quickly. I asked if he could do a boiler service at the same time, as the work has only taken a couple of minutes and we were due a service soon. He said he didn't have time to do one at that point but we could book one online.I've since been charged for an hour's labour, although when Liam came round he didn't have time to stay and do an hour's labour. I understand that the price was set before the repair, but I think I expected him to be willing to stay for an hour if necessary. I've sent a couple of emails asking whether we could have a discount off a subsequent boiler service and haven't had any reply.
Can’t recommend Liam enough. Top advice, came the day we moved in and helped us in an emergency and this week has fitted a new boiler. Professional, punctual and cleans up after himself 👌🏻 Will be using again soon!
Liam is a top guy. Had a couple of bits done by him now including a brand new boiler installation and a new sink fitting. He also came out and capped off a gas pipe free of charge when we needed it doing ASAP. Would highly recommend!
We had a leak from the cold water pipe to the sink in our bathroom and an annoying drip from the stop tap in the cellar. Both decided to become horrendous (as a homeowner) at the same time. Liam came out at short notice and fixed both issues with no major problems. I can't recommend Hirst Gas Services highly enough, if you have a problem you need to call Liam.
I needed a couple of radiators taking off the wall so I could decorate behind them, Liam called out at very short notice and helped me out. Only a small job but they took the time to fit me in with no fuss, thank you.
I've had two experiences with Hirst gas services the first was when my boiler very inconveniently packed in 2 days after Christmas.Liam was at hand within around two hours of my call to come out and get my boiler going again and advised us very well on what to do next in either keeping our old boiler or opting for a new one . We opted for the latter and are very happy with workmanship and efficiency of the new boiler fitted by Liam and his team . Off the back of this we had them come back to refurb our bathrooms for us and I must say clean , professional outstanding job again , we can't speak highly enough . The subcontractors that Liam and his team are top draw , the tiling in our bathrooms makes them look a million dollars better than any hotel or spa . To say we are pleased is an understatement .
